1 Patron yogesh-munjal

Shri Yogesh Munjal – A dynamic Industrialist with an eye for continuous innovation in overall working. He is Managing Director of Munjal Showa Ltd. (a Hero Group company) is an eminent personality in the corporate world. He graduated in the field of Architecture from IIT, Roorkee. Ever since he finished his formal education, he was associated with many of the Hero Group companies in the capacity of CEO and contributed for making the companies as world leaders. He is a Trustee of Tankara, Vedic Sadhana Ashram, Tapovan, Dehradun and Lala Ciwan Chand Trust. He actively participates in NCR Arya Samaj Activities. He is senior active member of Rotary Club of Delhi Southend and was President of the club during the year 1991-92 & Executive Committee member of Rotary Education Foundation R.I. District – 3010. He is actively involved in Corporate Social Activities of Educational institute, Hospitals and spiritual & religious institutions. Company is getting special awards for Green Environment and work safety.

2 Patron sawhney

Shri I.S. Sawhney – A staunch Arya Samaji and associated with Arya Samaj Kailash GK-1 for the past more than 4 decades. His father-in-law was one of the founders of famous Arya Samaj Karol Bagh, New Delhi. Sawhney ji was associated with strong Arya Samaj followers like late Shri Mohinder Pratap ji and later Shri Shanti Prakash Behl ji. He was honoured by Arya Samaj for his special contribution at Rajat Jayanti Samaroh in February, 1992. He has been president of our Arya Samaj from 2002-2005 and again in 2009-10. He has played an active role in the improvement & expansion of Dental Centre, Medical facilities and renovation of Yagyashala.
Defying age, Sawhney ji is still determined to put our Arya Samaj on the world map.

3 President lakhanpal

Shri V.K. Lakhanpal – An M.A. in English Literature from Allahabad University. He is son of Late Prof. Satyavrata Sidhantalankar, who was a voluminous writer in Hindi, Sanskrit and English, a Member of Parliament, Vice Chancellor of Gurukula Kangri University, Haridwar and awarded number of prizes for his contributions to Society. Shri Lakhanpal started as Manager (Marketing) with Murphy Radios in North India and retired in 1985 from the board of ‘Murphy India Ltd.’ He was responsible for marketing of Novino dry battery calls (Panasonic) in North & West India. At present he is looking after the publishing of Homoeopathic books and Vedic Literature written by his father. He has translated his father’s book on ‘Sanskars’ (Vedic Vision) and lately ‘Ekadashopanishad’ (The Upanishad) (9 Upanishads) in English language.
Shri Lakhanpal is a soft spoken personality, dedicated, system oriented, flexible and is accessible by all.

4 Sr. Vice-President rajiv-chaudhary

Shri Rajiv Chaudhri – A Fellow of the Institute of Cost & Management Accountants, having 48 years of service to credit with renowned multinational/national groups in various senior positions like Senior Vice President-Operations with Bharti Airtel, Director – Commercial with Warner Lambert Group. Has been to Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies where he worked as General Manager-Group Management Accountant for head office of conglomerate of 76 companies in the group for about eight years. During his stay in Jamaica monthly Hawan practice was started in June, 1986, which is continuing till date after 29 years. Highly religious minded from early childhood. Grandfather was President of Arya Samaj, Gurgaon. Wife’s parents also belong to staunch Aryasamaji family. Father-in-law was responsible for opening of Safdarjung Enclave, Arya Samaj and was also Secretary of DAV Managing Committee. Wife’s nanaji took sanyas at the age of 50 and had opened GM Arya Girls School in 1933 near Patti, Amritsar.
Shri Rajiv is a highly experienced person, religious minded, dedicated, system-oriented, energetic, and able to communicate and take people along.

5 Vice-President

Smt Amrit Paul – An MA-English Literature, Smt Amrit belongs to a staunch Arya Samaj family. She is the daughter of Shri Satyadev Vidyalankar. She has managed Arya Shishusala for 22 years. She has been the Vice President of Stri Arya Samaj and Acting President in the absence of President.

6 Vice-President rajiv-bhatnagar

Shri Rajiv Bhatnagar – Born in an Arya Samaji family, was fortunate to have got all his ceremonies (Namkaran, Karna Chchedan, Upnayan Sanskar) conducted under the blessings of his nanaji, Acharya Shree Krishna who later renounced the worldly life on the historic day of 100 years celebration of Arya Samaj at Ramlila Maidan on 16th December, 1975 and embraced Sanyas and did Ved Prachar as Swami Dikshanandji Saraswati. However, fortunately his blessings remained with the family even after his sanyas. His influence on the family is such that even all maternal uncles and aunts are staunch Arya Samajis. Many of them are actively engaged in the activities of their respective Samajs. His father has been Pradhan at Arya Samaj, Narain Vihar for many years where his mother is even today Pradhana of Stree Samaj. The sanskars have now been passed on to not only spouses but even the next generation.
Shri Rajiv who is presently working as a General Manager with BHEL is a pleasing personality, intelligent, energetic, confident, able to communicate and achievement-oriented.

7 Secretary  Shri Rajendra Verma – A Post Graduate in science, Shri Verma is a retired bank officer. Presently he is working as a Consultant Home-Loans and LIC’s Insurance Advisor. He belongs to an Arya Samaji family. His father was a strict Arya Samaji. He is living in Greater Kailash for the last about 43 years. He has successfully conducted Quiz-programme and Lecture-competition for school children last year in our Arya Samaj. A Yoga-enthusiast, he regularly attends YOGA CLASSES being conducted every morning at the lawns of our Arya Samaj.
Shri Rajendra is an experienced and refined personality, system-oriented, able to communicate and having flair for good writing.
8 Jt Secretary Shri Vijay Bhatia – Born on 6th Dec. 1945, Shri Bhatia passed B.A. from Delhi University and Draftsmanship course from P.T.C. Okhla, N.Delhi. He retired as a Manager from Central Bank of India, Delhi. A staunch Arya Samaji, his parents too were associated with Arya Samaj since 1960. He has been associated with Dakshin Delhi Ved Prachar Mandir in various capacities and has been actively contributing to the Arya Samaj Mandir.
9 Treasurer

Shri Amar Singh Pahal – Born in a farmer family of Haryana in 1937, Shri Pahal passed B.Sc., B.Ed. from Punjab University and M.A. (English) from Aligarh Muslim University. He worked in the Education Department of union territory of Delhi as a Lecturer and retired in 1997. He has followed principles of Arya Samaj since childhood and is actively contributing to the Arya Samaj after retirement. He believes in simple living and high thinking.
